Terms of service

Notaito · Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Ayr122 Pty Ltd, trading as Sozou (ACN 673 572 873, ABN 26 673 572 873), of Victoria, Australia (“we”, “us”). They cover your use of Notaito, the notes app at notaito.sozou.ai and notaito.pages.dev. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Notaito. Questions go to [email protected].

1. Notaito

Notaito is a notebook that files your notes under projects, with sharing, reminders and optional AI features. We improve it often, so features change. If we plan to remove a main feature you use, we will tell you in Notaito at least 30 days before, unless we must act sooner for legal or security reasons.

2. Your account

3. Your content

You own what you write and upload (“your content”). You give us permission to store, copy, process and send your content only as needed to run Notaito for you: for example to sync it to your devices, show it to people you share with, send reminders, and run the AI features you use with the service providers named in the privacy policy. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the short time copies stay in backups, as the privacy policy describes.

Comments you write in someone else’s project become part of that project. If you delete your account, they stay there, labelled “A former member”; delete them first if you want them gone.

You are responsible for your content. Only store and share content that you have the right to use.

4. Sharing and public links

You decide what to share. People you share a project with can see it, and can change it if you give them edit access. A public link lets anyone who has it see the project, and edit it if you allow editing. Links can be passed on, so share them with care. You can remove a person or make a new link at any time, and the old link stops working.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Notaito to:

Public links reach people you do not know, so these rules matter most there. Do not use a public link to publish content that is sexually explicit, hateful, or misleading in a way that could cause harm.

6. Reporting content

If you see content on a Notaito link that breaks these terms or the law, email [email protected] with the link and the reason. We will look at it, and we may turn off the link or remove the content. We will tell the project’s owner what we did and why, unless the law or safety prevents it.

7. AI features

Some features use AI: filing notes, reading words in pictures, PDFs and web pages, and writing out recorded voice notes. The privacy policy says what each one sends and to whom. Auto-organise with AI is off until you switch it on.

AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Filing only moves notes, and never changes or deletes your words. Check anything important yourself, and do not rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

8. Connected apps and other services

You can connect AI apps such as Claude or Codex, and use quick-capture keys. You choose what each app may do, and you can disconnect it at any time in Settings. Those apps, and the companies behind them, are not part of Notaito: they handle what you let them read under their own terms.

9. Free and Plus

Notaito has two plans. Free costs nothing and has no time limit. Plus costs A$7.99 a month or A$79.99 a year (US$5.99 or US$59.99 outside Australia; no GST is charged), and gives more AI (notes filed, voice notes typed out and pictures read) and more storage for pictures and files. Settings › Your plan shows what each plan includes.

10. Availability and your copies

We work to keep Notaito available and your notes safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copy of anything important: Settings › Export notebook downloads everything at any time.

11. Suspending or closing an account

You can stop using Notaito at any time, and delete your account in Settings.

We may suspend or close an account, or turn off a link, only if:

Before we do, we will tell you why and give you a fair chance to fix the problem, unless the matter is urgent or the law prevents us. If we close an account that has not broken these terms, we will give you at least 30 days to export your notebook. If we stop running Notaito, we will tell you at least 60 days before, and you can export your notebook until it closes.

12. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us, and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be limited.

13. Our responsibility

Subject to section 12: we are responsible for loss that you suffer because we did not take reasonable care, or broke these terms, if that loss was reasonably foreseeable. We are not responsible for loss that we did not cause, or that could not reasonably have been foreseen, or for loss caused by the third-party services you choose to connect.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms to reflect changes to Notaito, to the law, or to how we run Notaito safely. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in Notaito at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then. The current terms are always on this page, with their date.

15. Problems and complaints

If something goes wrong, email [email protected]. We will reply within 5 business days and try to resolve it within 30 days. You can also contact Consumer Affairs Victoria, or the consumer protection agency where you live.

16. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria may decide disputes about them. If you live in another country, you also keep any rights that its consumer laws give you and that cannot be excluded.

17. General
